MadCap Software Acquires Xyleme

MadCap Software, a San Diego–based provider of multi-channel content authoring and management solutions backed by Battery Ventures, has acquired Xyleme, an enterprise learning content management system (LCMS) provider. The deal combines MadCap's technical documentation and component content management capabilities with Xyleme's LCMS to offer a unified content platform for enterprise training, documentation, certification and compliance.
