TruckPro (via Crane Carrier Canada) Acquires Transaxle Parts

TruckPro, through its wholly‑owned subsidiary Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited, acquired the Transaxle Parts group of companies, expanding TruckPro's heavy‑duty truck and trailer parts distribution and repair footprint in the Greater Toronto Area. Transaxle operates five locations in the Toronto, Ontario market; Transaxle owners Tom Neelin and Gary Zwygers will continue to lead day‑to‑day operations following the acquisition.

FleetPride and TruckPro Merge to Create Leading Independent Heavy‑Duty Parts Distributor

FleetPride and TruckPro have completed a merger to form the largest independent distributor and service provider in the heavy‑duty aftermarket, with the combined company operating under the FleetPride name and jointly owned by American Securities and Platinum Equity. The combined business will operate more than 450 locations (110+ service centers) and six distribution hubs across the U.S. and Canada, aiming to expand parts availability, service capacity and digital/ecommerce capabilities.

The shop — founded by Brian Hicks in 2000 and operating 16 service bays with onsite, towing and roadside capabilities — will operate as a standalone FleetPride Service Center to strengthen FleetPride’s parts and service coverage in the Rockford region.
