Hardwoods Distribution Inc. Acquires Novo Building Products from Blue Wolf Capital

Hardwoods Distribution Inc. (TSX: HDI) agreed to acquire Novo Building Products LLC from Blue Wolf Capital Partners in a transaction announced June 23, 2021; the purchase price was disclosed by HDI as approximately US$303 million and the deal was expected to close in late July/early August 2021. Novo, headquartered in Zeeland, Michigan, is a manufacturer and value-added distributor of mouldings, millwork and stair parts with more than 1,400 employees; Blue Wolf had owned Novo since 2016.

AHF Products Acquires Certain Assets of American OEM (Cumberland Products Group, LLC)

AHF Products has acquired certain assets of American OEM, the trade name of Cumberland Products Group, LLC, adding the Raintree, Hearthwood and Emily Morrow Home hardwood flooring brands and an engineered hardwood manufacturing facility in Only, Tennessee. AHF — a PE-backed flooring platform — said the acquisition will expand its product capabilities, reduce lead times, and deepen relationships with American OEM’s distributor and retail customers.

Galleher Acquires Trinity Hardwood Distributors

Galleher LLC, one of the top five flooring distributors in the U.S., has acquired Trinity Hardwood Distributors, a longtime Texas hardwood supplier founded in 1977. The acquisition expands Galleher's geographic coverage into Texas and will keep the Trinity brand as "Trinity Hardwood, A Galleher Company" to leverage Trinity's strong regional presence.

Paceline Equity Partners Affiliate Acquires AHF Products from American Industrial Partners

The deal — announced November 10, 2021 and closed in February 2022 — will position Paceline to grow AHF organically and via M&A while leveraging the company's manufacturing footprint and multi-channel distribution.
