Fidelity Building Services Group Acquires Air One Industries

Fidelity Building Services Group (Fidelity BSG) acquired Air One Industries, a North Carolina-based mechanical/HVAC provider, adding the company to Fidelity’s integrated building solutions platform. The acquisition expands Fidelity BSG’s service footprint in the Southeast and brings Air One’s capabilities in HVAC installation, chiller/process cooling, building automation, and 24/7 maintenance into its family of companies.

Fidelity Building Services Group has acquired St. Johns Air, a Jacksonville-based provider of HVAC and refrigeration services, expanding Fidelity’s footprint into Northeast Florida and South Georgia. The deal adds HVAC, refrigeration, preventive maintenance and retrofit capabilities to Fidelity’s national platform and strengthens service coverage for commercial and industrial customers in the region.

Onex Partners V Acquires Fidelity Building Services Group

Onex Partners V, a fund of Onex Corporation, has agreed to acquire Fidelity Building Services Group in partnership with the company's management team. Fidelity BSG is a provider of HVAC, mechanical, building automation and emergency power services headquartered in Sparks, Maryland; Onex said it will support Fidelity's organic growth and accelerate its acquisition strategy. Terms were not disclosed and the transaction was expected to close later in 2021 subject to customary conditions.
