Gilde-backed conTeyor Group Merges with KTP Kunststoff Palettentechnik

Benelux private equity firm Gilde Equity Management will become majority shareholder of the newly merged conTeyor–KTP group after conTeyor Group (Belgium) and Germany-based KTP Kunststoff Palettentechnik agreed to merge. The combination creates a leading reusable packaging and storage solutions provider (annual sales ~€200m), with KTP shareholders VR Equitypartner and Wagner Holding retaining a significant minority stake.

Pelican Energy Partners Acquires Container Technologies Industries, LLC

Houston-based private equity firm Pelican Energy Partners has acquired Container Technologies Industries, LLC (CTI), a Helenwood, Tennessee manufacturer of containment solutions for the nuclear industry, from a group of private (legacy) shareholders. In addition to a majority buyout, Pelican provided growth capital to expand CTI’s manufacturing capacity and has appointed Dr. Danielle Castley as President to lead capability expansion and serve DOE, DOD and commercial nuclear customers.

TekniPlex Acquires Keyes Packaging Group

Keyes Packaging Group — comprising Keyes Fibre (Wenatchee, WA) and Wrap Pack (Yakima, WA) — will operate within TekniPlex's Consumer Products division to expand sustainable packaging solutions for produce and other food customers.

Patriot Capital Group provided subordinated debt and an equity investment to support the transaction; Express operates three SQF Level 3 certified facilities in West Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Newcomerstown, OH.
