CMP Group Acquires MarineTech Products

CMP Group Ltd, an Ironbridge portfolio company headquartered in Delta, British Columbia, has acquired MarineTech Products, Inc., a marine-products manufacturer based in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. The deal expands CMP's U.S. presence and broadens its recreational marine product portfolio; founder and owner Larry Grundtner will remain with the combined business to support the transition.

The bolt-on deal expands Trelleborg's production and engineering footprint in North America and strengthens its berthing, docking and mooring offering; the acquired business has annual sales of approximately SEK 200 million and the transaction was expected to close in Q4 2015.
