The acquisition expands Woolpert's transportation and utilities capabilities and strengthens its presence in Pennsylvania while adding Dawood's surveying, 3D laser scanning, GIS, digital twin and Twin Track mobile application capabilities.

The acquisition expands Woolpert’s geospatial footprint into Africa and strengthens its airborne surveying and mapping capabilities for engineering, infrastructure, mining, agriculture and environmental clients.

Woolpert Acquires Teren's LiDAR Operations and Terevue Platform

Woolpert has acquired the lidar operations of Teren and will integrate Teren's analytics and Terevue SaaS platform into its geospatial offerings to better serve energy, utilities, transportation and renewable customers. Teren will remain an independent company while Woolpert also hired Teren's Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Energy Operations, Sam Acheson, to support energy clients.
