ModMed (Modernizing Medicine) has acquired Klara, a patient communication and collaboration platform that enables digital collaboration between practices, patients and third-party providers. The acquisition expands ModMed’s specialty-specific cloud platform by adding Klara’s patient engagement and messaging capabilities to improve practice efficiency and integration with EHR/PM systems.
