Argand Partners Acquires Cherry GmbH

Argand Partners, a New York- and San Francisco Bay Area-based private equity firm, completed the acquisition of Cherry GmbH, the German designer and manufacturer of CHERRY MX mechanical keyboard switches and other computer input devices. Argand said it will support Cherry's international growth—strengthening its U.S. presence, expanding its e-Health offerings across Europe and North America, and pursuing strategic M&A.

Planethic Group AG Acquires IP Innovation Partners Technology GmbH

Planethic Group AG (formerly Veganz Group AG) has acquired 100% of IP Innovation Partners Technology GmbH, a spin-off focused on the design, manufacture and distribution of machines for 2D production of beverages and foodstuffs. The €3.0 million purchase will be paid in 200,000 Planethic shares and aims to consolidate the Group's machine design and IP to strengthen its 2D printing/food-production capabilities.

Cherry Bekaert Acquires Kerr Consulting

Cherry Bekaert has acquired Kerr Consulting, a Houston-based business applications and cloud technology provider and top North American Sage partner. The deal (Kerr brought in approximately $20 million in annual revenue) strengthens Cherry Bekaert’s Sage and outsourced accounting capabilities and expands its technology-driven solutions nationwide; Kerr was majority-owned by Proviso Capital and was advised by Drake Star on the transaction.

Key Surgical Acquires Insitumed GmbH

Key Surgical LLC, a portfolio company of Water Street Healthcare Partners, has signed an agreement to acquire Insitumed GmbH, a Hamburg-based endoscopy product company. The deal expands Key Surgical's endoscopy product portfolio and extends its global footprint; financial terms were not disclosed.
