Nomba Acquires Licensed Canadian Payments Firm to Power Africa–Canada Trade

Nigerian fintech Nomba acquired a licensed Payment Service Provider and Money Services Business in Canada, completing the deal in Q2 2025. The acquisition gives Nomba regulatory coverage to move Canadian-dollar (CAD) funds locally in Canada and connect CAD payment flows directly to African markets for B2B trade payments.
