NortonLifeLock Acquires Avira from Investcorp for $360 Million

NortonLifeLock agreed to acquire Germany-headquartered cybersecurity software provider Avira from Investcorp for approximately $360 million in an all-cash deal announced in December 2020. The transaction, expected to close in Q1 2021 subject to regulatory approvals, strengthens NortonLifeLock’s consumer cyber-safety portfolio and builds a larger European footprint for the combined business.

Avast Acquires SecureKey Technologies

Avast has agreed to acquire SecureKey Technologies, a Canada-based provider of digital identity and authentication solutions, to expand its Identity product and services portfolio. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) will bring SecureKey's products such as Verified.Me and Government Sign-In into Avast's digital trust offerings; the deal was expected to close in early April 2022.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions to Acquire ID Analytics from NortonLifeLock

LexisNexis Risk Solutions, part of RELX, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire ID Analytics from NortonLifeLock. The acquisition will integrate ID Analytics' proprietary consumer identity and credit-risk data and analytics into LexisNexis Risk Solutions' fraud, identity management and credit decisioning offerings to expand capability in fraud/identity detection and credit risk decisioning.

Investcorp Technology Partners Acquires Avira

F-Secure to Acquire Lookout’s Consumer Mobile Security Business Segment
