nVent Electric plc entered into a definitive agreement to acquire ECM Industries, LLC from ECM Investors, LLC (the parent of ECM Industries) for $1.1 billion, subject to customary adjustments. The acquisition was expected to close in Q2 2023 and integrate ECM Industries into nVent’s Electrical and Fastening Solutions business segment.
