Kyyba Inc. Acquires Asen (LG Associates, Inc.)

Farmington Hills, Michigan-headquartered Kyyba Inc. has acquired Chicago-area-based Asen (LG Associates, Inc.), a strategic staffing and professional services firm headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois. The acquisition adds more than 80 employees to Kyyba's ~800-employee global footprint, expands Kyyba's offerings into additional industries (including healthcare and government), and will keep Asen president Lana Gertz in place to manage the transition; CEO ally acted as exclusive buy-side advisor.

K2 HealthVentures Affiliate Acquires VBI Vaccines

K2 VBI Equity Trust, LLC, an affiliate of K2 HealthVentures LLC, completed the purchase of VBI Vaccines Inc. pursuant to an amended acquisition agreement and the Company's creditor protection proceedings under Canada's CCAA. Following closing, VBI and certain subsidiaries became wholly owned by the purchaser, all common shares were redeemed and cancelled, and VBI's directors and executive officers were replaced by nominees of K2; the company is expected to cease being a reporting issuer in Canada and to deregister its U.S. public filings.

Accel-KKR Acquires VisiQuate

Zuken Acquires Vitech Corporation

Zuken Inc. completed the acquisition of Vitech Corporation, a Blacksburg, Virginia-based provider of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) software and services. The deal — which received approval from the U.S. Department of Defense and CFIUS — expands Zuken's portfolio into systems engineering and MBSE capabilities to support customers in aerospace, transportation and defense markets.

Qlik Acquires Intellectual Property and Technology from Kyndi
