Tosca, a U.S. reusable packaging and supply-chain solutions provider backed by funds advised by Apax Partners, has agreed to acquire Polymer Logistics from a consortium of private investors. The deal expands Tosca's geographic footprint into Europe and broadens its reusable transport packaging and retail-ready product offering; Apax Funds committed additional capital to Tosca to finance the acquisition.

Nexxus Iberia Acquires CONTENUR from ACON Investments

Mandata Acquires Returnloads.net

Northumberland-based transport management software provider Mandata has acquired Returnloads.net, the UK's largest online haulage and freight exchange, in a deal funded by LDC with debt facilities from Santander. The acquisition will expand Mandata's digital services and customer base by integrating Returnloads.net's load-matching marketplace with Mandata's transport management platform.

CTP Acquires VLD S.r.l. to Enter Italian Market

CTP has acquired VLD S.r.l. for €241 million as its entry into Italy and will deploy a planned €1 billion investment in Italian projects over the next five years. The deal gives CTP an 8.7 million sqm landbank (including owned, contracted and optioned land), and VLD — previously controlled by FBH Group — will be rebranded as CTP Italy under Agostino Emanuele.
