Government Executive Media Group (GEMG) has acquired City & State New York (CSNY) with financial support from private equity firm Growth Catalyst Partners; terms were not disclosed. The acquisition supports GEMG's state and local growth strategy and will keep CSNY based in New York with founder Tom Allon serving as Publisher and General Manager as GEMG expands the CSNY model into other states and major cities.
