Thoma Bravo has closed an investment in Trading Technologies, joining existing investor 7RIDGE in the company's ownership to support the next phase of platform expansion and product innovation. Terms were not disclosed; advisors to the transaction included Houlihan Lokey and Barclays for Trading Technologies and Ardea Partners and Goodwin Procter for Thoma Bravo.

Trading Technologies Acquires AxeTrading

Trading Technologies (TT) acquired London-based AxeTrading, a provider of fixed income trading solutions, to expand TT's multi-asset SaaS platform into corporate, government, municipal and emerging market bonds as well as OTC interest rate swaps. The deal broadens TT's offering across fixed income derivatives and U.S. Treasuries, integrating AxeTrading's pricing, quoting and execution capabilities into TT's global platform; terms were not disclosed.

7RIDGE Acquires American Financial Exchange (AFX)

7RIDGE, a specialized growth equity firm, has acquired 100% of the American Financial Exchange (AFX) to accelerate growth of the AFX platform and expand adoption of its AMERIBOR benchmark. The transaction preserves a Cboe Global Markets subsidiary as a service provider to AFX and aims to deepen AFX’s role as a provider of credit-sensitive benchmarks to U.S. banks and financial institutions.

Trading Technologies Acquires RCM-X

Trading Technologies (TT) has acquired RCM-X, a provider of algorithmic execution strategies, trade analytics and TCA services, and will integrate RCM-X’s products and team into the TT trading platform. The deal is TT’s first acquisition since TT itself was acquired by 7RIDGE in December 2021 and strengthens TT’s execution-algorithm and analytics capabilities for institutional clients.

The deal will integrate OpenGamma's margin-optimization tools into TT's multi-asset trading platform to deepen risk and capital-efficiency capabilities and expand distribution to buy-side and sell-side clients worldwide; terms were not disclosed.

Long Ridge and DRW VC Lead Majority Growth Investment in NinjaTrader

NinjaTrader, a provider of trading software and brokerage services for active retail futures traders, received a majority growth investment led by Long Ridge Equity Partners with participation from DRW Venture Capital. The capital will be used to accelerate NinjaTrader's product and market expansion while Long Ridge partners join the company's board to support growth.
