Financial terms were not disclosed; both companies will continue to operate while the teams work toward full real-time integration expected in Q4 2024.

Public Acquires Alto's CryptoIRA Business

Public, the New York–based investing platform, has acquired the CryptoIRA business from Alto. The deal transfers Alto's crypto IRA product and related technology to Public so that Public members will be able to trade cryptocurrencies within their IRAs once integration completes in early 2026.

Gemini Acquires BITRIA (formerly Blockchange Inc.)

Gemini has acquired BITRIA, a digital asset portfolio management platform (formerly Blockchange Inc.), and will integrate BITRIA’s SMA and DTAMP capabilities into Gemini’s custody and exchange platform. The acquisition brings BITRIA’s team into Gemini and aims to provide wealth and asset managers with an end-to-end solution for accessing, managing, and billing crypto investments across a broad set of tokens.

NMI Acquires IRIS CRM

NMI, a full commerce enablement and payment platform, has acquired IRIS CRM, a merchant-services-focused CRM and merchant management platform headquartered in Brooklyn, New York. The acquisition expands NMI’s capabilities beyond gateway services to include merchant prospecting, onboarding, portfolio reporting and residual income calculations; terms were not disclosed and IRIS CRM’s president Dimitri Akhrin will remain with the combined organization.

Coinbase Acquires Liquifi

Gemini Acquires Crypto Custody Developer Shard X
