Huron Capital made an additional equity investment in its pallet platform, Northwest Pallet Holdings, and combined Northwest Pallet with Prime Woodcraft Inc. The merged company will be headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois, with Jack Donnell serving as President and CEO and Prime founder Ansir Junaid remaining a board member and significant shareholder.

U-Haul Acquires Former Extra Space Storage Facility in Minneapolis

U-Haul acquired the former Extra Space Storage facility at 1717 W. River Road N. in Minneapolis and opened it as U-Haul Moving & Storage at West River Road. The two-story, 975-unit self-storage property became operational under U-Haul management on Nov. 19, and the company plans to hire up to eight team members to staff the location.

Zenith Energy Acquires Bulk Terminal Storage from Guttman Realty

Zenith Energy Terminals Holdings LLC has completed the acquisition of the assets of Bulk Terminal Storage from Guttman Realty, adding three storage terminals in Aurora, Ohio; Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania; and Star City, West Virginia with 560,000 barrels of aggregate capacity. The deal expands Zenith’s Midwest and Marcellus/Utica footprint and strengthens its ability to store conventional fuels and alternative fuels including renewable diesel, biofuel and ethanol.

High Street Insurance Partners Acquires Capital Insurance Group

High Street Insurance Partners, a Huron Capital ExecFactor platform, has acquired Bloomfield Hills-based Capital Insurance Group (CIG) as an add-on to expand its commercial insurance presence in metro Detroit. The transaction is one of three deals completed by High Street in August 2020 and marks Huron Capital's 200th acquisition since 1999; terms were not disclosed and CIG shareholders will remain active with High Street.

H.I.G. Capital Recapitalizes Titan Storage Solutions (UK)

An affiliate of H.I.G. Capital has acquired an interest in Titan Storage Solutions, a UK self-storage operator owning five assets totalling approximately 142,000 sq. ft. H.I.G. said the investment will support the platform’s growth, leveraging Titan’s digital approach to asset procurement and ramp-up to build a regional champion in the UK self-storage market.

MFG Partners and Merit Capital Partners Acquire Storage Solutions, Inc.

The transaction transitions the company from an ESOP structure and positions Storage Solutions to expand its service lines and capitalize on growth in e-commerce and warehouse demand.
