Palella Holdings Acquires La Sicilia and Its Publishing Company (Dse S.p.A.)

Palella Holdings, the family office of Italian-American entrepreneur Salvatore Palella, has acquired the Sicilian daily newspaper La Sicilia and its publishing company Dse S.p.A. from the Ciancio Sanfilippo family via the Sicily Investment Fund. The purchase — which includes the publisher's stake in ANSA and real estate assets — will support a digital transformation (new app and platformization), investment in property assets, and an expanded national and international presence while preserving editorial independence.

Dexelance S.p.A. has signed a binding agreement to acquire a 65% stake in Mohd from Lifestyle Fund (the Quadrivio & Pambianco vehicle) and the Mollura family, with the Mollura family reinvesting and retaining a prominent role. Mohd, headquartered in Messina, Italy, is a leading multi-channel and e-commerce distributor of premium furnishings that grew from €28m in 2019 to about €70m in 2024, with 115 employees and an EBITDA of €7m.

Salice Acquires Villes 2000 S.r.l.

(Salice Group), a Cobepa-backed manufacturer of hinges and furniture fittings, has acquired Villes 2000 S.r.l., an Italian producer of aluminium sliding systems for furniture, interior doors and shower boxes. The deal is an add-on to Salice’s platform intended to expand its sliding-systems portfolio, leverage product synergies (including the Bortoluzzi brand) and strengthen its offering to furniture and interior markets.
