Pernod Ricard and the Fayard family signed an agreement for Pernod Ricard to acquire a majority shareholding in Château Sainte Marguerite, a Cru Classé Côtes-de-Provence rosé producer. The deal is expected to be completed in the coming months, with Château Sainte Marguerite continuing to operate with its current team while Pernod Ricard integrates the brand into its international network.

The deal combines the Pernod Ricard wine assets (including Jacob’s Creek, Campo Viejo, Brancott Estate and others) with Accolade to form a new global wine company, Vinarchy, while Pernod Ricard will continue distribution for a transitional period.

Charterhouse Capital Partners, together with the management team led by CEO Pierre Donnersberg, has agreed to acquire the Siaci Saint Honore Group from Ardian and Edmond de Rothschild in a management buyout. Charterhouse will be the main shareholder alongside management to support the Group’s development as an independent European insurance consulting and brokerage leader; the transaction was expected to complete in September 2018 and is subject to regulatory and works council approvals.
