Pinnacle Pet Group Acquires Veterfina’s European Pet Insurance Business

JAB Holding Company’s Pinnacle Pet Group (PPG) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Veterfina Verzekeringsmaatschappij N.V. and its European subsidiaries. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2022, subject to customary regulatory approvals, and financial terms were not disclosed. PPG plans to use growth equity to accelerate European expansion and roll out FIGO, JAB’s digital pet insurance offering, in select markets.

Pinnacle Pet Group Acquires C&F Pet UK Operations (Pet Protect, VioVet)

The deal adds ~70,000 Pet Protect customers and VioVet's ecommerce/e-pharmacy capabilities (≈900,000 transactions/year), expanding PPG's UK/European pet insurance footprint and non-insurance pet health services.
