Tooling Tech Group (GenNx360 Portfolio) Acquires Alpha Integration

Tooling Tech Group, a GenNx360 Capital Partners portfolio company, has acquired Alpha Integration, a Murfreesboro, Tennessee-based developer and manufacturer of automated assembly, material handling, dispensing, sorting, testing, welding and fastening solutions. The deal is an add-on to TTG's platform intended to expand its automation and assembly capabilities and help TTG reach new end markets such as medical and cosmetics.

DFC Manufacturing Group Acquires Converting Technology (CTI/CTE)

DFC Manufacturing Group, LLC acquired Converting Technology, Inc. / Converting Technology Engraving, Inc. (CTI/CTE), a tooling and embossing-die manufacturer based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The acquisition expands DFC's footprint in die-making and post-print finishing, adding CTI/CTE's embossing dies and converting services to DFC's existing network of die companies.

PHX Holdings Acquires Garrity Tool Company (GTC Machining)

PHX Holdings, the holding company of Phoenix Stamping Group and backed by JBA Capital, acquired Indianapolis-based Garrity Tool Company (renamed GTC Machining) on February 1, 2019. The acquisition adds precision machining capabilities (AS9100D, ITAR, ISO13485) in aerospace, defense and medical device markets and strengthens PHX's Midwest footprint.

Worthington Industries Acquires GTI Holding Company (General Tools & Instruments) from High Road Capital Partners

Worthington Industries, Inc. acquired GTI Holding Company, the parent of General Tools & Instruments, LLC, from High Road Capital Partners for $115 million. The sale, which closed on January 29, 2021, adds General Tools' hand-held and garden tool brands (including General, PacTool, Garden Weasel and Hawkeye) to Worthington's consumer products portfolio; High Road completed the investment in 2014 and substantially grew the business during its ownership.

Centre Lane Partners Acquires Hardinge's Machine and Workholding Businesses; Creates Kellenberger and Forkardt Hardinge

Affiliates of private equity firm Centre Lane Partners acquired substantially all of Hardinge Inc.'s global machine and workholding businesses through transactions under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The machine operations will operate as Kellenberger (led by Greg Knight) and the workholding operations as Forkardt Hardinge (led by Ryan Ervin), each positioned for independent growth with renewed capital and operational flexibility.

Consolidated Machine & Tool Holdings (CMTH), a platform company backed by White Wolf Capital, acquired Delva Tool & Machine Corporation (DTM), a precision machining and contract manufacturing business based in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. The add-on expands CMTH's capacity and capabilities—adding advanced robotics and defense/aerospace customers—and provides DTM access to capital to support future growth; financial terms were not disclosed.
