The add-on expands The Planet Group's Technology portfolio and strengthens its Workday and enterprise systems staffing capabilities.

K-Solv Group Acquires Turnkey Industries

The K-Solv Group has acquired Turnkey Industries, a Magnolia, Texas–based designer and manufacturer of custom truck bodies, trailers, transporters and mobile command units. K-Solv said the acquisition will expand its disaster response and field services capabilities and strengthen its solutions for the oil & gas, government and specialty markets; Turnkey’s founder will remain to support scaling and innovation.

Vacasa Acquires TurnKey Vacation Rentals

Vacasa announced it has signed an agreement to acquire TurnKey Vacation Rentals, a full-service vacation rental manager based in Austin, Texas that manages approximately 6,000 vacation rentals across 80+ U.S. destinations. The deal expands Vacasa’s portfolio into premier markets (including Los Angeles, Napa, Asheville and Santa Fe), brings TurnKey employees and technology into Vacasa, and is expected to close subject to customary conditions.

FortisPay Acquires OmniFund

WorkWave Acquires TEAM Software

WorkWave, a PE-backed provider of field service SaaS solutions, has signed an agreement to acquire TEAM Software, a leading provider of software for cleaning, janitorial, security, and facilities management service providers. The deal (expected to close end of September 2021) is an add-on to WorkWave’s portfolio that expands its vertical coverage and international footprint; TEAM was previously backed by Accel-KKR.

Forward Air to Combine with Omni Logistics

Forward Air Corporation will combine with Omni Logistics in a cash-and-stock transaction that creates a scaled expedited LTL and multimodal logistics platform with approximately $3.7 billion of combined adjusted revenue for the 12 months ended June 30, 2023. Omni shareholders will receive $150 million in cash plus Forward common and preferred stock (resulting in Omni shareholders owning ~37.7% of the combined company on a fully-diluted basis); the deal is expected to generate up to $125 million of run-rate EBITDA synergies and close in H2 2023 subject to approvals.
