EQT Acquires Mabtech from IK Partners and Mérieux Equity Partners

EQT, via its newly launched EQT Healthcare Growth Strategy, is acquiring Swedish immunoassay specialist Mabtech AB from IK Partners and Mérieux Equity Partners. Mabtech, a developer and manufacturer of antibodies, kits and readers used in vaccine, infectious disease and oncology research, will be supported by EQT to expand its product portfolio and accelerate geographic growth, particularly in the US. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and financial terms were not disclosed.

BIOBank, headquartered in Lieusaint, France, is a leading processor and distributor of bone allografts for orthopaedic, spine, dental and cranio‑maxillofacial surgery; IK plans to support market-share gains in France, accelerate international expansion and pursue a buy‑and‑build strategy.

Financial terms were not disclosed; the management team will reinvest and completion is subject to regulatory approval. IK will invest from its Development Capital pool to support Tecomatic's growth and further consolidate its position in the Nordics across water treatment and erosion control solutions.

EQT Acquires Majority Stake in Ellab from IK Investment Partners
