The deal brings AEL’s annuities and life insurance capabilities under Brookfield Reinsurance’s capital-solutions platform to expand liability-driven asset allocation and private asset management capabilities.

Vantage Group Acquires Admitted Carrier Vantage Risk Assurance Company

Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. has closed the purchase of an admitted-lines carrier, Vantage Risk Assurance Company (formerly Heritage Casualty Insurance Company), from Union Fidelity Life Insurance Company. Concurrently, funds managed by Carlyle and Hellman & Friedman committed up to an additional $200 million to support Vantage’s continued growth and to expand capabilities in its U.S. insurance platform.

Hexure Acquires Vive

Kuvare Acquires Lincoln Benefit Life Company

The deal adds approximately 200,000 policyholders to Kuvare, expands its annuity and variable life product portfolio and increases Kuvare's pro forma consolidated assets to more than $22 billion.
