The Granite Group Acquires Premier Supply Group

The Granite Group, a Concord, New Hampshire-based distributor of plumbing, HVAC and piping products, has acquired Premier Supply Group, a 50-year-old wholesale distributor with nine branches and a decorative plumbing showroom across Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The deal adds nine branch locations to The Granite Group's New England footprint and will keep Premier Supply Group's brands and showroom operating under their current names in the near term during an eventual rebrand and operational integration.

(CAP), a distributor with locations in Des Moines, Iowa and Lenexa, Kansas. The acquisition expands Baldwin Supply's regional footprint and capabilities to better serve customers in aggregate, mining and construction markets.

Heidelberg Materials North America Acquires Carver Sand & Gravel

Heidelberg Materials North America has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Carver Sand & Gravel, the largest aggregates producer in the Albany, New York area. The deal includes four quarries, three sand and gravel pits, a trucking business, two asphalt plants, roughly 70 million metric tons of reserves and about 200 employees, and is positioned as a bolt-on to expand Heidelberg's footprint in the New York market.

Granite Acquires Warren Paving and Papich Construction

Granite Construction (NYSE: GVA) completed acquisitions of Warren Paving and Papich Construction for a combined purchase price of $710 million, adding approximately $425 million of annual revenue and materially increasing its aggregates reserves and production. The deals expand Granite's vertically-integrated home markets—adding a major barge-enabled aggregates network in the Southeast and quarry/roadbuilding capabilities on California's Central Coast—and are expected to be accretive to adjusted EBITDA.

Granite Construction Acquires Lehman-Roberts Company and Memphis Stone & Gravel

Granite Construction Incorporated (NYSE: GVA) has acquired Lehman-Roberts Company and Memphis Stone & Gravel Company, expanding its materials and paving footprint in the Memphis metropolitan market. The deal adds asphalt plants and sand & gravel mines (with substantial reserves) to Granite’s operations and will be financed with a $150 million term loan plus revolver and cash on hand; the acquired companies’ leadership will remain in place.

Rose Paving Merges with Atlantic Southern Paving

Rose Paving has merged with Atlantic Southern Paving to create one of the largest self-performing paving companies in the United States, combining complementary geographic footprints and creating a nationwide network. The combined business — supported by existing investors Tenex Capital Management (Rose) and Harbor Beach Capital (ASP) — will operate over 1,000 employees across 34 offices to expand scale and service capabilities.
