A&M Capital Partners Acquires Majority Interest in The Arcticom Group

A&M Capital Partners (AMCP), an Alvarez & Marsal Capital-affiliated private equity firm, has acquired a majority interest in The Arcticom Group, a Walnut Creek, California-based provider of mission-critical commercial refrigeration and HVAC services. Arcticom's senior management will remain in place, and AMCP plans to use Arcticom as a platform to pursue add-on acquisitions and expand geographic and end-market presence across North America.

The acquisition expands CMS's service footprint in the Mountain West and strengthens its position in core end markets including healthcare, education, municipal, senior living and industrial customers; AMI founders Manuel Gonzales and Paula Wiley will transition out and AMI's construction arm will continue operations post-close.
