Expro Group and Frank's International N.V. have completed a previously announced merger, with the combined company assuming the Expro Group Holdings N.V. name and beginning trading on the NYSE under the ticker XPRO. The transaction creates a larger full‑cycle energy services provider combining well access, drilling and completions capabilities to deliver expanded scale, capability expansion and expected cost and revenue synergies.

ProFrac Holdings, LLC completed the acquisition of FTS International, Inc., closing related refinancing transactions and appointing Lance Turner (formerly FTSI CFO) as ProFrac CFO. The combined company — which ProFrac says will be one of the largest U.S. pressure‑pumping providers — has 31 active frac fleets pro forma and generated $257.9 million of annualized combined adjusted EBITDA in Q4 2021 (before synergies).

Expro (NYSE: XPRO) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Coretrax, an Aberdeen-based provider of performance drilling tools and wellbore cleanup, well integrity and production optimization solutions, from an investment group led by Buckthorn Partners. Total consideration is approximately $210 million (including at least $75 million cash and up to 6.75 million newly issued Expro shares); the deal is expected to close in Q2 2024 and will expand Expro's well construction and well intervention & integrity capabilities and geographic footprint.
