Checkmarx Acquires Tromzo to Advance Agentic Application Security

Checkmarx has acquired Tromzo, an AI-native startup that builds autonomous triage and remediation agents for application security, and will integrate Tromzo's reasoning engine and engineering team into the Checkmarx One platform. The acquisition brings Tromzo's founders and AI engineers into Checkmarx to power new Checkmarx Assist agents and accelerate enterprise-grade autonomous AppSec capabilities starting in early 2026.

Synopsys Acquires Code Dx

Synopsys, Inc. acquired Code Dx, an application security risk management vendor based in Northport, New York, to extend Synopsys' application security portfolio and provide consolidated vulnerability aggregation, correlation, and prioritization across multiple testing tools. The deal adds Code Dx's R&D team and technology into Synopsys' Software Integrity Group to improve risk reporting and DevSecOps orchestration.
