Akamai Technologies has completed its all-cash acquisition of Janrain, a pioneer in customer identity and access management (CIAM). The deal integrates Janrain’s Identity Cloud into the Akamai Intelligent Edge Platform to add identity management and risk-based adaptive authentication capabilities to Akamai’s security and edge offerings.
