Accel-KKR led the merger of Mavenlink and Kimble Applications to create Kantata, a combined vertical Cloud & SaaS provider of professional services automation. Michael Speranza was named CEO of the new company, which will combine product capabilities and go-to-market efforts (the combined business counts nearly 600 employees and serves over 2,000 clients); existing investors including Carrick Capital Partners and Goldman Sachs remain investors.
