Protegis Fire & Safety Acquires Metro Fire Protection Services and PDS Systems

Protegis Fire & Safety, the Protegis platform backed by Align Capital Partners, completed two add-on acquisitions: Florida-based Metro Fire Protection Services, Inc. in February 2022 and Ohio-based PDS Systems, LLC in April 2022. The transactions expand Protegis' coverage and technical capabilities in key Florida and Ohio markets while retaining existing leadership from both businesses.

The deal, effective July 25, 2023, expands Summit's footprint into Rhode Island and increases its national locations to 69, while Pierce's team will continue to deliver sprinkler, suppression, inspection and maintenance services under the Summit platform.
