CORE Industrial Partners Acquires RE3DTECH to Form 3D Printing Platform

CORE Industrial Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has acquired RE3DTECH, a supplier of high-volume additive manufacturing services, to form a new 3D printing platform. The investment will support organic growth, capability expansion (polymer and metal production-grade parts) and complementary acquisitions to broaden geographic and service reach.

CORE Industrial Partners’ portfolio company RE3DTECH has acquired GoProto, combining the additive and traditional manufacturing capabilities to form a scaled additive manufacturing platform focused on production parts and Industry 4.0 capabilities. The deal brings GoProto’s multi‑jet fusion, SLS, SLA, polyjet and FDM capabilities together with RE3DTECH to expand production-grade additive manufacturing capacity across medical, aerospace, automotive and other end markets.

3D Systems Acquires Titan Additive LLC (Titan Robotics)

3D Systems announced it will acquire Titan Additive LLC (Titan Robotics), a Colorado-based designer and fabricator of large-format, pellet-based extrusion 3D printers. The acquisition adds Titan's hybrid pellet/filament extrusion and hybrid tool-head technology to 3D Systems' polymer additive manufacturing portfolio to address larger-format industrial applications across aerospace, automotive, foundries and general manufacturing.
