MidEuropa Acquires Majority Stake in the MBL Group

MidEuropa has acquired a majority stake in the MBL Group, a leading European contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) for assisted mobility, rehabilitation and aged-care equipment. INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund has fully exited its shareholding while the Lauritsen family has reinvested and CEO Martin Lauritsen will continue to lead the business as MidEuropa supports international growth and capability expansion. MBL employs approximately 1,700 people across Europe and Asia and holds over 100 registered patents.

LBMX Acquires Buying Group Services (BGS)

LBMX Inc., a London, Ontario–based business marketplace platform provider, acquired Buying Group Services (BGS) in an all‑shares transaction effective January 1, 2022. The acquisition adds managed services capabilities to LBMX's existing EDI, PIM and eCommerce offerings, enabling expanded services (including central payments and PIM enrichment) for independent distributors, buying groups and suppliers across end markets such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building materials and food service equipment.

GMM Pfaudler Acquires Majority Stake in Pfaudler Group from DBAG

GMM Pfaudler Limited has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in the global business of the Pfaudler Group from Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG) Fund VI, making GMM the ultimate holding company for the combined group. The consolidated business will have estimated combined revenue of ~Rs 20 billion (USD 267 million), roughly 1,500 employees and 12 manufacturing facilities across eight countries, positioning GMM Pfaudler as a global leader in corrosion‑resistant process equipment and services for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

J.F. Lehman & Company Acquires Global Marine Group

Lehman & Company (through an investment affiliate) has acquired Global Marine Group, a Chelmsford, UK‑based provider of subsea cable installation and maintenance services to the telecommunications, offshore wind and utility markets. The transaction, financed in part by Deutsche Bank, adds specialized marine assets and capabilities to JFLCO's portfolio and is intended to support GMG's growth in telecom and offshore wind markets.

FDH Aero Acquires BJG Electronics Group

FDH Aero, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has acquired BJG Electronics Group from Rockwood Equity Partners. The deal adds BJG’s interconnect and electromechanical product distribution and value‑added manufacturing capabilities to FDH’s electronics offering, creating FDH Aero Electronic Products Group to expand supply‑chain solutions for aerospace, defense and space customers.

MML Ireland Invests in Vyta Group; Vyta Acquires FGD

MML Ireland has invested approximately £11m for a minority stake in Vyta Group to support the company's UK and European consolidation strategy. Concurrently Vyta Group acquired Essex-based IT disposal company FGD (37 employees), which will rebrand under Vyta and increase the group's team to over 120 as it expands its IT asset disposition (ITAD) and recycling services.
