Holman, a global automotive services and fleet management company headquartered in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, has acquired Park Wood Managers, a Texas-based underwriter and insurance provider for commercial trucking fleets. The acquisition expands Holman's commercial underwriting, program management and alternative risk capabilities — including becoming program manager of the Park Wood Risk Retention Group (to be rebranded Holman Transportation RRG) — to offer liability coverage for medium- to extra heavy-duty commercial vehicles.

Higginbotham Acquires Holman and Company (Alpharetta, GA)

Higginbotham has brought Holman and Company, an Alpharetta-based commercial and personal insurance broker, into its firm, adding a third Georgia office and expanding service capabilities in the greater Atlanta market. The deal gives Holman broader access to insurer markets and Higginbotham additional local presence and employee-benefit capabilities while Holman leadership will continue in managing roles.
