Osaic Acquires Lincoln Wealth (Lincoln Financial Advisors & Lincoln Financial Securities)

Osaic, a portfolio company of Reverence Capital Partners, has completed the acquisition of Lincoln Wealth — Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation and Lincoln Financial Securities Corporation — from Lincoln National Corporation / Lincoln Financial Group. The deal transfers roughly 1,400–1,450 financial professionals and about $115 billion in assets under management to Osaic and was reported to provide Lincoln with approximately $650 million of capital benefit.

Osaic Acquires CW Advisors

Osaic, a portfolio company of Reverence Capital Partners, has acquired Boston-based CW Advisors, a registered investment advisor managing roughly $13.5–14.5 billion in fee-only client assets. The deal (purchased from Audax Private Equity) expands Osaic’s scale and capabilities in the fee-only channel and high-net-worth / ultra-high-net-worth wealth management market while allowing CW Advisors to remain operationally independent.

Avantax Adds S&P Financial Services and Noble Oak Financial Advisor Teams

Avantax (a community within Cetera Holdings) announced it has onboarded two advisory teams: S&P Financial Services (John Surace and Kelly Powers) from Osaic, bringing about $150 million in client assets, and Noble Oak Financial (Josh Linton, Mike Koltz and Danielle Boutwell) from LPL Financial, bringing about $300 million in client assets. The hires expand Avantax’s tax-focused wealth-management capabilities and overall assets under administration while positioning the firm to grow advisor headcount and client relationships in Long Island, New York and the Augusta, Georgia area.

Allworth Financial Acquires UAS Wealth Advisors

Allworth Financial has acquired UAS Wealth Advisors of Albuquerque, New Mexico; financial terms were not disclosed. UAS manages about $427 million in assets for roughly 290 clients and the deal expands Allworth's Southwest footprint while enabling a leadership succession plan for the UAS advisors.
