The Home Depot Acquires HD Supply Holdings, Inc.

The Home Depot agreed to acquire HD Supply Holdings, Inc. in a cash tender offer valuing the business at approximately $8 billion, with the deal expected to close in late 2020. The acquisition expands The Home Depot's capabilities and distribution footprint in the maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) market—particularly in multifamily and hospitality end markets—and is expected to be accretive to earnings.

Phillips & Temro Acquires EVoCharge, Inc.

Phillips & Temro Industries, a Harbour Group company, acquired EVoCharge, Inc., a supplier of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, in a transaction with undisclosed terms. The acquisition adds EV charging hardware and cable-management products to Phillips & Temro’s portfolio and expands its reach into commercial, fleet and residential EV markets.

Parts Town Acquires Dayton Appliance Parts

Lineage Logistics Acquires MTC Logistics

Lineage Logistics acquired MTC Logistics, a cold-chain provider operating four refrigerated facilities near key U.S. East and Gulf Coast ports (Baltimore, Wilmington, Philadelphia and Mobile). The deal adds nearly 38 million cubic feet of capacity and over 113,000 pallet positions to Lineage's global temperature-controlled network; financial terms were not disclosed. MTC was a wholly owned subsidiary of Hoffberger Holdings, Inc.

Watsco and Carrier Acquire Temperature Equipment Corporation

Watsco, Inc., together with Carrier Global Corporation, signed an agreement to acquire Temperature Equipment Corporation (TEC) for Watsco to own 80% and Carrier 20%. TEC is a Chicago/Lansing, Illinois–based HVAC distributor with $291 million in 2020 sales, ~10,000 customers and 32 Midwest locations; the deal expands Watsco's footprint into the U.S. Midwest.
