Halberg A/S Acquires Løgismose A/S from IK Partners

Halberg A/S, a fifth-generation family-owned group based in Svendborg, has agreed to acquire Danish high-end food brand Løgismose A/S from IK Partners' IK VII Fund; financial terms were not disclosed. Løgismose will remain an independent company headquartered in Broby with the current management team retained, and the transaction is expected to complete on 31 August 2023.

Solenis Acquires Diversey for $4.6 Billion

Solenis, a Platinum Equity–backed specialty chemicals company, agreed to acquire Diversey Holdings, Ltd. in an all-cash transaction valued at an enterprise value of approximately $4.6 billion, taking Diversey private. The combination expands Solenis's product and service capabilities across water management, cleaning and hygiene, creates cross-selling opportunities and broadens the combined company's global scale and reach.

Solenis Acquires CedarChem LLC

Solenis, a Wilmington, Delaware-based specialty chemicals producer owned by Platinum Equity, acquired CedarChem LLC and its operating assets on October 2, 2023. CedarChem, headquartered in Cedartown, Georgia, supplies water and wastewater treatment products to industrial and municipal customers in the southeastern United States; the deal expands Solenis' product and service capabilities and regional go-to-market presence.

Astorg to Acquire Majority Stake in Solabia Group

Astorg has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Solabia Group from TA Associates, with TA reinvesting alongside Astorg. Solabia, a Paris-headquartered biotech ingredients manufacturer with 11 production sites, 8 R&D labs and over 900 employees, will partner with Astorg to accelerate international expansion (particularly in the US and Asia), advance product innovation and pursue targeted M&A.

Platinum Equity Acquires Solenis and Combines It With Sigura Water

Platinum Equity has completed its acquisition of specialty chemicals maker Solenis from Clayton, Dubilier & Rice and BASF for an enterprise value of $5.25 billion and simultaneously merged Solenis with Platinum-owned Sigura Water, creating a combined business with approximately $3.5 billion in revenue. The combined company expands Solenis' portfolio into residential and commercial pool & spa treatment markets, increases geographic reach and manufacturing scale, and will be led by Solenis CEO John Panichella with Sigura's Robert Baird heading the new Pool Solutions division.

Jernbro Acquires Veolia's Swedish Industrial Maintenance Business

Jernbro Industrial Services AB has agreed to acquire Veolia Environnement S.A.'s industrial maintenance business in Sweden, taking over operations in Kiruna, Avesta, Sandviken, Norrköping and Gothenburg effective 1 October 2019. The acquired business has over 300 employees and annual sales of about SEK 400 million; the deal increases Jernbro's turnover to SEK 1.4 billion and its headcount to roughly 950.
