Cognizant Acquires New Signature

Cognizant announced it will acquire New Signature, a leading Microsoft-focused cloud transformation specialist, to form a new Microsoft Business Group and expand Cognizant's hyperscale cloud advisory and managed services capabilities. The deal (financial terms undisclosed) will bring New Signature’s more than 500 cloud experts into Cognizant and is expected to close in Q3 2020, subject to regulatory approvals.

Battery Ventures Takes Majority Stake in Signiant

Battery Ventures has made a majority growth investment in Signiant, a Lexington, Massachusetts-based provider of cloud-native file transfer SaaS for the media industry. The terms were not disclosed; Signiant will use the funds to accelerate product development, go-to-market expansion and pursue potential acquisitions, and two Battery partners will join Signiant's board.

Providence Strategic Growth (PSG) Takes Majority Stake in Signaturit

Funds managed by Providence Strategic Growth (PSG) have signed a majority investment in Signaturit, a Barcelona-based provider of cloud-based trust services including eSignature, eDelivery and eID. PSG will support Signaturit's product diversification, geographic expansion and strategic M&A as the company scales (Signaturit's founders retain a stake and Juan Zamora remains CEO).

Branddocs Acquires TrustCloud; Combined Company Will Trade as TrustCloud

The merger combines Branddocs' client base and fraud-detection capabilities with TrustCloud's modular choreography platform and certifications to deliver a vendor-agnostic, globally compliant SaaS solution for identity verification, e-signature, vaulting and related services.

Klipboard Acquires Savance Enterprise

SignUp Software (Insight Partners) Acquires SKsoft

SignUp Software, a portfolio company of Insight Partners, has acquired SK Global Software LLC (SKsoft), a provider of banking and treasury automation solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365. The acquisition expands SignUp's Microsoft Dynamics suite—joining SKsoft with SignUp's ExFlow, DynamicWeb, and Axtension—to create a global solutions offering for finance, commerce, and supply chain automation.
