The acquisition combines The Leadership Edge's leadership development capabilities with 2Connect's presentation and communications expertise to offer an integrated suite of services for life sciences and other technical industries; financial terms were not disclosed.

CSL Acquires Caburn Telecom

CSL, a PE-backed European provider of critical IoT connectivity, has acquired Caburn Telecom, a UK-based provider of secure IoT connectivity, SIM management and software. The deal brings Caburn’s proprietary SIM management platform and >1 million live IoT connections into the CSL Group to expand IoT capabilities, scale and geographic reach.

LightEdge Acquires Connectria

LightEdge, a GI Partners‑backed provider of secure cloud and colocation services, has agreed to acquire Connectria, a St. Louis‑based multi‑cloud infrastructure and managed hosting provider. The deal adds six data centers to LightEdge’s footprint, expands its public cloud hosting capabilities (IBM, AWS, Azure), and is expected to close before the end of April.

ECI Partners Exits CSL into Continuation Fund Led by Carlyle AlpInvest, HarbourVest and Pantheon

ECI Partners has exited CSL, the UK-based critical IoT connectivity specialist, into an ECI-managed continuation fund led by existing ECI investors Carlyle AlpInvest, HarbourVest Partners and Pantheon, generating a 3.5x return on ECI’s investment. CSL grew c.20% organically during ECI’s ownership, has launched products such as rSIM, and will continue its expansion strategy (including M&A) under the continuation vehicle.

Impact Electronic Solutions Acquires Coastal Connections

Impact Electronic Solutions (Impact ES), a VergePointe Capital–backed electronics manufacturing services company, has acquired Coastal Connections, a Ventura, California–based maker of engineered fiber optic cables and assemblies. The deal expands Impact ES’s fiber-optic manufacturing and turnkey cable-assembly capabilities to better serve medical, aerospace/space, defense and industrial end markets.
