AE Industrial Partners Acquires Air Transport Components to Establish Aerospace MRO Platform

AE Industrial Partners has acquired Air Transport Components (ATC), a provider of aircraft component maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, to serve as the cornerstone of a new aerospace MRO platform. The investment positions the platform to expand component repair capabilities across commercial, cargo, and military markets and pursue organic growth and further acquisitions; financial terms were not disclosed.

ProA Capital Acquires 70% Stake in Avioparts

Spanish private equity firm ProA Capital has agreed to acquire roughly 70% of Avioparts, a distributor of aircraft components, lubricants and logistics solutions, in a deal that values the company at about €40 million. The transaction is structured as a share purchase plus a capital increase to support Avioparts’ organic and inorganic growth; founder David Fojon will remain CEO and a minority shareholder.

AxioAero Group Acquires Airway Aerospace LLC

Core Specialty Acquires London Aviation Underwriters

Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. has completed the acquisition of London Aviation Underwriters, Inc., integrating LAU as its 18th specialty business unit and creating a new Aviation & Aerospace Division. LAU employees became Core Specialty employees effective January 1, 2025; LAU produced $44 million in gross premiums written in 2024 and will continue to operate under the LAU brand while StarStone National Insurance Company remains the policy-issuing carrier.
