The Reynolds and Reynolds Company has agreed to acquire American Guardian Warranty Services (AGWS), a provider of vehicle service contracts, limited warranties and F&I administration services. The acquisition will integrate AGWS's warranty and aftermarket administration capabilities into Reynolds' dealership software and retailing tools to streamline F&I product sales and contract booking.

AHG will join Alliant Consumer Group to expand Alliant's presence in the ACA marketplace; terms were not disclosed and the entire AHG team will join Alliant.

The transaction strengthens MDP’s partnership with Amynta to support continued growth of the underwriting services and warranty business; existing commercial arrangements between Amynta and AmTrust will remain in place.
