Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. has acquired Rotax Metals, Inc., a Brooklyn-based distributor of copper, bronze and brass alloys. Rotax (founded 1947) generated approximately $14 million in net sales for the 12 months ended July 31, 2021 and will operate as a subsidiary of Yarde Metals, a wholly owned Reliance subsidiary; terms were not disclosed.
