The deal is expected to bring Flow Security’s data security posture management (DSPM) into CrowdStrike’s Falcon XDR and Falcon Cloud Security platform following closing.

Zscaler Acquires Cloudneeti

Zscaler announced the intent to acquire Cloudneeti, a Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) startup, to extend Zscaler's Cloud Security Platform with public-cloud misconfiguration detection and automated remediation capabilities. The acquisition will broaden Zscaler's data protection coverage across SaaS, IaaS and PaaS environments; terms were not disclosed and the deal was expected to close prior to Zscaler's fiscal third quarter.

Kinaxis Acquires AI-based Retail Demand Planning Provider Rubikloud

Kinaxis Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Toronto-based Rubikloud for US$60 million in an all-cash transaction. The acquisition brings Rubikloud’s AI/ML-driven demand forecasting and promotion optimization SaaS capabilities (and ~80 employees) into Kinaxis’s RapidResponse platform to expand its demand-planning capabilities and accelerate entry into the enterprise retail and CPG markets.

Johnson & Johnson MedTech has completed the acquisition of Laminar, Inc., a privately held medical device developer focused on eliminating the left atrial appendage (LAA) in patients with non‑valvular atrial fibrillation, for $400 million upfront plus potential clinical and regulatory milestone payments. Laminar will join Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s Biosense Webster business to expand the company’s electrophysiology and interventional cardiology portfolio and accelerate development and commercialization of Laminar’s rotational LAA elimination technology.

Proofpoint Signs Definitive Agreement to Acquire Normalyze

Proofpoint entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Normalyze, a Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) provider. The acquisition is expected to close in November 2024, subject to customary closing conditions, and will add Normalyze’s AI-powered DSPM technology to Proofpoint’s human-centric security platform.
