EnergyHub has acquired Packetized Energy to integrate Packetized's Nimble platform and advanced load-shaping/grid management capabilities into EnergyHub's Mercury DERMS. The acquisition expands EnergyHub's DER control, managed charging, and multi-DER optimization capabilities and brings Packetized's engineering team into EnergyHub's Burlington, Vermont offices.

NewNet to Acquire Nokia Siemens Networks' WiMAX Business

NewNet Communication Technologies, a Skyview Capital portfolio company, announced plans to acquire the WiMAX business from Nokia Siemens Networks, including the full product portfolio, related employees and assets, and active customer and supplier contracts. Approximately 300 Nokia Siemens Networks employees (many in suburban Chicago, USA and Hangzhou, China) are expected to transfer; the deal was expected to close before December 31, 2011 and terms were not disclosed.

VyOS Networks Acquires Accel-PPP

VyOS Networks has acquired Accel-PPP, a vendor and open-source project that provides a high-performance VPN, PPPoE and IPoE server application for Linux. The deal brings Accel-PPP's broadband access server and multi-protocol VPN capabilities into VyOS's open-source network operating system to expand its networking feature set and drive broader adoption among enterprises, service providers, and integrators.

iVision (CIVC Partners Portfolio Company) Acquires Carve Systems

InterVision Acquires SyCom Technologies
