Sensata Technologies Acquires SmartWitness Holdings

Sensata Technologies announced it is acquiring SmartWitness Holdings, a privately held provider of video telematics technology for commercial fleets. SmartWitness’s platform combines proprietary video telematics hardware, software, analytics, and support delivered through telematics service providers and reseller channel partners. The parties expect to complete the transaction in the fourth quarter of 2021, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
