Shift4 to Acquire Smartpay

Shift4 has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Smartpay, an independent payment processing and point-of-sale provider in Australia and New Zealand. The deal values Smartpay at NZ$296.4 million (about $180 million) and is expected to close in Q4 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
