Plaskolite LLC agreed to acquire substantially all of the assets and operations of Plazit-Polygal (excluding its Russian operations), expanding Plaskolite’s manufacturing footprint across North America, Europe, South America and Israel. The deal — backed by Plaskolite owner Pritzker Private Capital — adds multi-wall sheet production capabilities and establishes Plazit-Polygal’s Israel headquarters as Plaskolite’s EMEA hub.

Plaskolite Acquires Trinseo's Matamoros Cell Cast Acrylic Facility

Plaskolite LLC has agreed to acquire the land, buildings and equipment of Trinseo's cell cast acrylic manufacturing facility in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The asset purchase expands Plaskolite's North American footprint and adds cell cast PMMA sheet production capability to its existing acrylic sheet technologies; product shipments from the Matamoros plant were expected to begin in H2 2023.

Plaskolite LLC, a Pritzker Private Capital-owned manufacturer of engineering thermoplastics, has acquired MXL Industries, a Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based maker of specialty optical plastic parts. The acquisition strengthens Plaskolite's coatings and polycarbonate capabilities and expands its offerings into specialty-crafted optical thermoplastic solutions for aerospace, medical, life-safety and marine markets.

Azelis to Acquire Dağaltı Kauçuk San. to Strengthen Turkey Rubber & Plastics Additives Business

Azelis has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Dağaltı Kauçuk San., a specialty chemicals distributor in Turkey’s rubber and plastics additives (R&PA) market. Scranton Products, headquartered in Scranton, Pennsylvania, is a manufacturer of HDPE privacy partitions and lockers and will serve as a platform investment to support growth and capability expansion across education, government, healthcare and other end markets.

Aksa Akrilik Kimya Sanayii Acquires Dow’s 50% Stake in DowAksa Joint Venture

Dow has agreed to sell its 50% ownership interest in DowAksa Advanced Composites Holdings BV to Aksa Akrilik Kimya Sanayii A.Ş., the other joint venture partner. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
