Sonic Automotive, a Fortune 500 automotive retailer, has acquired Sun Chevrolet in Chittenango, New York, adding the dealer as the company's sixth Chevrolet franchise and its 111th franchised dealership location. Joe Caputo (founder) and his family sold the dealership; Todd Caputo will remain with Sonic and take a leadership position supporting EchoPark Automotive and the company's delivery center expansion.
