Stewart Information Services Acquires Informative Research for $192 Million

Stewart Information Services Corporation (NYSE: STC) has signed an agreement to acquire Informative Research (IR), a provider of credit, consumer, and real estate data and technology services, for $192 million. The acquisition—expected to close after regulatory review—will strengthen Stewart's data and analytics capabilities and integrate IR's platform into Stewart's family of companies while IR continues to operate as a standalone business.
